Empire Locums are working closely with a large Buckinghamshire hospital to find an extraordinary Consultant in Elderly Medicine. The successful candidate will have at least 6 months UK experience at this level, and 3 years experience at Consultant level overall. They will be passionate about providing careful care to vulnerable patients, and able to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels. 

This impressive NHS site has undergone substantial renovation over the past 5 years, including new multi-million pound inpatient and outpatient buildings. With a total of 470 beds, the hospital is a regional centre for burns and plastics, and is internationally renowned for its spinal injuries unit. It is a progressive, well-managed hospital that is dedicated to providing the best possible care for its patients. 

Candidates must be fully qualified Consultants, with the relevant UK/EU qualifications, the unrestricted right to work in the UK and at least two references to support their application. Candidates must be available for at least 4 weeks.
