| Description |
Swim Social Work Team are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker in the Children and Families Team based in Herefordshire. This is a 3 month , full time position.
Your job will be to: To provide a range of services and support designed to protect children from harm, and promote the welfare of children in need, including assessment of needs, identification of appropriate services to meet the needs, and coordination, monitoring and review of service provision.
You must have the following experience: proven Child Protection experience, demonstrating knowledge of kinship assessments, permanency planning and moving people back in to independence. A candidate with significant experience of working in CYPD and who can hit the ground running. Knowledge of 1989 Children Act, and other relevant legislation, regulations and guidance.
You will need the following qualifications: DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent. You must also hold a full UK driving licence and have your own transport. You must be GSCC registered and have an enhanced CRB less than 12 months old.
