Qualified Social Worker - Children with Disabilities - West Mid
Description
Swim Social Work Team are looking to recruit a Social Worker to the Disabled Team based in West Midlands

This is initially a 3 month full time position with a salary paying up to 27 per hour

You will need to have the following experience

* You must have at least one year's experience in a similar team and be confident working with children and people with physical and learning disabilities
*You must have post-qualifying experience so that you are able to hit the ground running and pick up a case load of assessments
*Ability to demonstrate sound initial assessment skills
*Excellent verbal/written communication & report-writing skills
*Ability to learn new computer programmes quickly
*To assess the needs of children and young people who have a disability and their families in order to ensure that they receive appropriate services and refer as appropriate to other agencies.
*To undertake the role of Duty Worker as determined by the Team Manager.
*To be responsible for a caseload as allocated by the Team Manager.
*To be available for supervision as arranged by the Team Manager or Head of Service.
*To attend team meetings/service meetings and to assist in the development of team & service objectives.

Must be fully cleared and GSCC registered with a CRB in the name of the supplying agency.
You must have

*GSCC Registration
*Recognised Social Work Degree
*Fully Enhanced CRB
