Swim Social Work Team are looking to recruit Qualified Level 3 Social Workers to the Children and Families Teams based in Greater Manchester
These are 3 month full time positions. You must have at least 2 years post qualifying experience to apply for this role. Please only apply if you have that experience
Your job will be to:
* Working with children subject to CIN and CP plans
* Initiating care proceedings where children are not subject to care orders.
* Be responsible for efficient caseload management
* Maintain up to date case records and to provide reports
* To be fully compliant with Auditing Procedures
* Maintain efficient and reliable liaison with other agencies.
* Attend team meetings and to participate in team development
You must have the following experience:
* 2 years Working within a statutory Children and Families Team, knowledge of Child Protection is essential
* Assessment and evaluation skills sufficient to assess need and risk.
* Able to prioritise and organise work and set and work to clear objectives.
* Experience of Child Care Work
* Post qualification experience in statutory social work
* Knowledge of Social Work methodologies and relevant legislation, regulations and procedures and ability to use them
You will need the following qualifications:
* Full GSCC Registration
* Social Work Degree
