Qualified Social Worker - Children's Team - Worcestershire
A position for a qualified social worker within the children's team has become available within the county of Worcestershire. The position is very secure, and we can offer a minimum of a 3 month ongoing contract to the successful social worker. Duties include:
•To be professionally responsible for providing initial assessment and investigations under Section 47 of the Children Act 1989.
•To provide an effective social work service at individual client level by ensuring the use of appropriate resources from Council, and statutory and independent agencies.
•To attend child protection conferences, reviews and Court as the Council representative as appropriate.
•To write complex reports and undertake all administrative duties related to the social work function.
Due to the nature of the position, we require applicants with at least 6 months front line experience, as well as acces to your own vehicle.
All you require to be considered for this post is a CRB issued within the last 12 months, a diploma in social work, GSCC registration, and contact details for most recent referees.
